Research interests:
Studies on various aspects of fish and fisheries in both marine and freshwater environments.
A special emphasis is given to biodiversity, biological invasion processes, taxonomy, and systematics, early life stages of fishes, advanced DNA-based methods for monitoring, stock assessment for commercial species.
